Planetarium

We took a trip on Saturday to the Planetarium.  Two of my boys, the oldest declined, a friend of theirs, and me.  I actually did this in anticipation that it would enlighten my youngest, Andrew.  He seems intersted in his science studies of the solar system and galaxy and I was hoping it would spark some interest.

Well..the same Planetarium Guy was there that was there when I was in fifth grade.  1975.  However, now he has white hair and multiple senioritis ailments. The Planetarium is dated is my final conclusion.  When this guy passes away...I am not sure what will happen.  The domed 2D effect is just not enough to interest children that are given so much media.  Particularly when there is a lot of 3d imaging available.  Technology has dated Robert J Novins Planetarium.  I enjoyed it because of my past...Andrew enjoyed it because he is studying Jupiter.  Justin and his friend, Matthew Meyer, were commandos the whole time, they enjoyed their freedom in a pitch black planetaurium that was ill attended.

I am not quite sure what will happen when the Planetarium Guy retires.  I am sure that place is funded by grants and such...but what will happen?

Not much on my mind right now. I've pretty much been doing nothing worth mentioning. Whatever. Oh well. My mind is like a bunch of nothing.

My life's been pretty boring. Nothing notable happening lately. That's how it is. I guess it doesn't bother me.
