Well, the girls of Comcast. I have just had some ill dealings with them. Both were very helpful. However, both had no clue what they were talking about. I know my modem crashed. I gave the symtomps to my buddy Bill a few weeks ago...and he said....”you need a new Modem.” Well...I carry the modem to comcast...they of courese cannot “deploy” a new modem. I have to make a tech appointment....for Monday. It is Thursday. Bah!
The withdrawel....was pretty bad. No-e-mail. No SWG for Justin. No music for Nick. No online silly games for Andrew. Everyone was bored. That in itself is bad.
I call comcast support. The girl walks me through some steps. I tell her I think it is hte modem. She practically bets her life that it is not the Modem.
The tech shows up yesterday. No IP Address detected anywhere. Bang...new surfboard modem. Instantly my computer is working. End of Story. More Blogs to follow. Perhaps some theological commentary too....of course offered free.
