What do we do after God has answered our prayers?

I asked this of a friend recently.  This friend is currently experiencing  answers to a specific prayer.  Now What?  Of course God is to be given all the glory and praise.  However, shouldn't there be some measurable thing that happens in receiver?

This has happened to me several times.  I plea and cry out to the Lord. He answers my prayer.....and then I go on.  Sometimes not giving it a second thought.  I willl make one thing clear....God is not my genie.  I know that sometimes his answers to prayer are not specifically what I wanted.  It is his will....and his to dispense as he pleases and according to his plan.

Can we shape his will....with our prayers? A very good question....but...I would like to think it is more important that we grow in faith as our prayers are given answers.  Whether we like them or not.

What do you think...?
