Thanksgiving.
What am I thankful for...
I am thankful that I do not have Kidney Stones. A buddy of mine has them and I would take them from him upon my self if it were an option. My wonderful friend Gary and new Pastor of Congregational Care has a stones...and is sitting in the hospital. God's timing... I am sure Gary will think of some whimsical way to praise God. His way is the way of Christ and it will only be natural.
I am thankful for all that visit here and send me little notes.
I am thankful for the rush of blood through my veins and the miracle they call the human heart. Life here on Earth is taken quite to easily. There have been many pitstops this year that have caused daily reflection upon this very subject. Illness, accidents, and death. Tragedy. Bah! Let us think about the Victory. Forget the losses...host the victories within your heart and let them propel you through your days.
I am thankful that I have a bed here at my side. Tomorrow brings my favorite holiday of the year. The arrival of family and blood related loved ones. The Jacopec's know how to be a family. Bad blood and sibling rivlary take a back seat tomorrow. It will be a tremendous time of family bonding and joy. Not to mention the food...I will blog about that tomorrow.
I am thankful for that and looking forward already.
