Da' Boys and Kidz Klub

Well I have been writing about them long enough here is a picture of my Boys.  Left to right...Andrew 11, Nick 16, and Justin 12.  I have been fooling around with learning how to post pictures and this is my first attempt on my own.  Thanks to Michael Main and Bill Meyer...I figured out my own much easier way.  Bah to HTML<>##CWE HTML is Greek to me.

This is a picture taken at the growing famous Kidz Klub Christmas party.  We were very fortunate to have a Master Photographer.  Val Schmidt took a picture of every family unit and they were put in frames that the Kidz had made earlier as a craft.  Another Woman, Margaret Reid, helped her and it went so smoothly I didn't even know that it was being done.

Gary Walter, assisted by his wife, performed a great puppet show. He must have had 12 different puppets, each with very unique voices.  It was a great and entertaining story.  The story line was simple and obvious and defined the lines of Good and Evil.  To me the great message that I got...(yes I got one!)...was how some of the puppets prayed.  The show was not a lesson on prayer, rather it was a lesson on how to use prayer through occurrences in our life.  It should be our first simple re-action, rather than a second thought.  (Did I get it right Gary?)

The Kidz Klub Christmas party was great.  It gets better every year.  The food was awesome and the gift giving is fun and it is one of the main reasons Kids come out.

This year however, my own personal blessings came from the things that I didn't expect.  I kind of know who is going to come.  But God always adds others...and those others are the ones that I find the most intriguing.

The way things were working out this year Justin and I did most of the major set up.  However, there were 3 twenty year old girls hanging around the club house we were using for the party.  They actually couldn't believe the number of gifts and the amount of food.  They joined in helping set up.  So God provided. (again) (I'm so spoiled sometimes.) At the end of set up, one of the girls bashfully asks if she could go home and get her 9 year old sister. “of course!“, I replied.  Well she ran home and got her little sister.  These four young ladies together had a really wild time. The 9 year old young lady moved me so much that in addition to her normal gift I gave here one of the extra gifts.  We had several hats and scarves that were donated and they were hand knitted.  There was one that was probably the most beautiful hat sets I have ever seen.  It was pink, purple and white.  The pattern was beautiful and I still cannot understand how human hands can make something so pretty.  Well, I gave that set to this girl that understood the wonderful splendor and beauty of this gift set.   Later on I found out that one of our teens gave this group of girls a gift certificate to the movies too.  (That is another story.)

Today I found out that our party, was a large part of this young ladies Christmas.  The love of God was made abundant that night.  Gifts were given and food was eaten and the Love of God was shared simply and silently.  I can't wait for next year.
