Who is the enemy?
It is important we each must know.
Could you pick yours out if asked
and make it worldly known.
Mine is guiled in sweet sounds and pleading
To which I must reply,
I know who you are, can no longer be deceived,
Your threat to me is real and viable,
I could live with it if it were only me.
But there are two children, a street, a town,
county, state, and country,
all of which live in potential of your threat.
But Take this my child for it tortures my soul
day to day you call, twist my words,
You have my ear, break my heart
But my answer always will be
No.
