I had some free time with my family of young teens. They had an extended weekend and when I got home from work, we decided to do something as a family. We tried to go bowling, but there were no lanes available. Then I decided “lets go see a movie”. Not as easy as it sounds.
Alexis, my short time from now daughter, wanted to see what the boys deemed “Chick Flic”. A movie starring the guy that was Napolean Dynamite. The Boys wanted to see the new Tim Burton movie and I wanted to see a Sci-fi film called “Serenity”. Alas I am learning about my new family. Movie going may not be easy.
We finally settled upon buying the widescreen version of “Robots” and settling in at home. After final review, a movie I saw before and enjoyed, Alexis gave it a thumbs down. Truthfully, I do not think it was because she did not enjoy it...I think she just did not want to agree with me. Ackkk! another teen rebel that finds it their duty to disagree with everything I like and say. YES!
Edited all grammar and spelling. I wrote this initially with a pounding headache from the weather. Hi pressure system.
