Happy New Year 2006

This morning found us traveling.  Not as early as I would have liked.  I wanted to leave at 5 am.  But....my body just cannot spring into action in a matter of seconds after I first wake up.  It takes me more than an hour now to get functional.  Something I desire to change and hope to do with a change in diet and exercise.

Travels?  Well to Portsmouth, Virginia.  Visiting Nick.  We finally got out of the house 6-sh.  Everyone was in fairly good spirits.  I have been praying and have asked others to pray for this trip.  I have not seen Nick since September and he totally missed out on our Wedding.  Unavoidable circumstances because of how far away he is living, and he still had some behavioral issues relating to anger that he had not earned any overnight passes.

Well.....our family trip....to Unite our whole family.  It is quite a big deal for me because family means so much to me.  I want each and every member to enjoy this trip.

A seven hour trip.....was actually not too bad.  We stopped several times and I was pulled over in what I think was a speed trap in Maryland on Rt 13.  One of those traps that the speed limit goes from 55 to 35 and back up to 55.   I really was quite mad, but I always receive my tickets respectfully.  The officer was old enough to be my Father.  I am not sure what lesson I am to take from this. All things happen for the good of God...yet  I will be $117.00 lighter in the wallet and I have to return to Maryland to make sure I do not get four points on my license.  God must have some plan in the future for me on that day that I return.  There has to be a divine reason that I got this ticket.  I have not had a ticket in so long.  The Police Officer was so clean and dry and it was like he was passing out flyers for a Police Ball.  It was interesting because when he handed me the ticket he made it clear that he would help me if I showed up for court and he said I can avoid getting points if I can prove I have a clean driving record.  Which I do.

Alas....we made it to Portsmouth finally to see Nick.  An area of intense ship building, Portsmouth is rebuilding similar to Baltimore.  They are building from the harbor out.  Hoping to attract tourists and business meetings.  The area along the water was beautiful.  I was impressed.  I have been to the inner harbor in Baltimore and I can clearly see the same blue prints going on here in Portsmouth that I saw in the inner harbor.

Nick.  We arrived at “The Pines” and sat in the lounge waiting.  When he came out it was a beautiful thing.  He was beautiful.  We all went up to him and I cried and Sue smiled and there were great hugs from Justin, Alexis and Andrew.  We only had two hours today to meet him.  So we went for a walk and were blessed by a Mexican restaurant.  We sat down and had a delicious meal.  Nick took off his hat....and his he his hair was huge.  He had a great fro.  Handsome.  He was a changed man.  I have some pictures to upload and I look forward to sharing.

Alas...I had to take him home and we settled into our room here at Holiday Inn.  The kids are all taking baths.  Sue is sleeping and we are deciding what to do as a family tomorrow.  Shopping, Zoo etc. are on the slate.  There is a neat ferry shuttle that goes around the harbor.  I think we may take advantage of that.

God is good.  As always he answers all of my prayers...and those prayers of my friends.

# cheap tramadol buy online

My mind is like a void, but I guess it doesn't bother me. Nothing exciting going on , but it's not important. I just don't have much to say recently.
