Hello friends. Here are some overdue pics of our 3 day vacation visiting Nicholas.
Here is a pic of Nicholas with his fro. When he would “pic“ it out it really looked cool. Yes...my boy is a man.
Here are Andrew, Nicholas and Justin walking toward me right after we saw a white rhino. The ease and the love the boys have for each other is so evident in this pic. Nicholas was there and ever present for the birth of his brothers. He was still three years old when Justin was born and 4 when Andrew was born.

Yo, I got a sister. I have heard Nicholas boast that. He has known Alexis for a long time and I admire the relationship that he has developed with both Alexis and his new “mom“, Sue. Here is a pic of all four children together at the Norfolk Zoo.

I really appreciate how natural everyone looks. Nick really held together well for the 3 days we visited. Here is a bonus pic of Sue and I. Sue hates having her picture taken but I love this pic especially since it was taken on a day that we all had such a great time.

Well...there are many more pics. I hope to add them later. I am sad to say that Nicholas is not doing well right now. He hates being in residential care... His only desire is to come home. My desire of course is the same, but I know that he needs help and he is getting it right now. He is safe and when I think about that it keeps me sound. If he were home, he would probably be in jail right now. He is gaining valuable skills to control his anger and impulses. After that, job skills will be added. I wish I could look 20 years into the future that could be good or it could be really bad. I'll settle for trusting in God. He has always provided.
