I really with horrible motion sickness. If you have never experienced motion sickness, then I am very happy for you. Friday last week we went to see Nicholas in Virginia. Sue and I took the Cape May Lewes Ferrry. When we got down to Cape May, it was raining and the wind was blowing. Of course....the sea was choppy.
During the ferry crossing the ferry was really rocking. The worse I have ever experienced. I had taken a lot of medication, and of course ate breakfast before I got on the ferry. Well, when we got to Lewes, Delaware.......I launched everything. Grabbed a bag from Sue and proceeded to fill it with the contents of my stomach. Twice more after that I vacated more contents.
Well, I have really tried to combat my motion sickness. For the most part I have it under control. But long rides really wear me down. On the return trip, I never got out of the van. I did all right on the ferry then. I know that is one of the tricks.
Oh yeah....and Sue loves to tell everyone about my motion sickness. Sigh. If you don't get sick, you will never understand how awful it can be.
